Amba (Fermented Mango Sauce) (300g)
First we ferment fresh mangoes in a salt brine until they reach optimum fermentation. Next we slow simmer the mangoes and all the ingredients until the perfect consistency is reached. The result is a fermented mango sauce that is the ideal condiment to bring to your table. Its bright orange-yellow colour, creamy texture, smell, and flavour – which is all at once fruity, salty, sour, and hot – will dress up any slice of bread, vegetable, grain dish, salad, or vegan meat. Consider it a mango chutney enhanced with fenugreek seeds. Our Amba is bold, it’s beautiful, and it’s tasty.
