Bumbleberry Galette
A galette, which originates in France, is a round, pastry-wrapped, fruit-filled dessert that is baked on a baking sheet. In case you don’t know, there is no such berry called a bumbleberry! So “bumbleberry” refers to mixed berries. Our Bumbleberry Galette has any variety of berries: blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, or strawberries. The berries are tossed with black currants and nestled in thin layers of flaky pastry dough, which is baked, then topped with icing sugar fresh out of the oven. Tempting and tasty!
