You, your family, and your friends have been living “under wraps” these past few weeks, in isolation, away from one another. We know it isn’t easy and is scary; everyone’s sense of normal has been interrupted and lives have been changed in major ways. We’re all in this together, if even from a distance.
If you feel like there are so many dietary lifestyle choices you can follow, but you’re not sure which is right for you or you don’t understand them, you’re not alone. One thing we know that’s often confused is a plant-based and a vegan diet, you may think that they are the same, but they differ from each other. And now we want to use our expertise in the area to explain!
A “bento” or “bento box” is a Japanese-style lunchbox that is assembled to provide a meal or snacks that offer a variety of tastes, textures, and food groups. It looks a bit like a tackle box with compartments to hold your different food items. The boxes can be made from non-toxic stainless-steel, glass, or molded plastic. Although glass bento boxes are heavier, they don’t absorb smells or stains. Putting together a vegan-friendly bento box can be creative, fun, and original.
